Operations Analyst
Job Description:
About Outsentia
Outsentia is a global talent and operations partner helping companies build high-performing offshore teams in regions like Pakistan. From sales and customer success to engineering and research support, we help our clients find top talent and scale quickly, without compromising quality.
We are currently hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a U.S.-based research platform that leverages expert insights to produce institutional-grade research for financial services firms around the world.
Job Description
A high-ownership role running point on our client's bespoke project workstream — custom research engagements commissioned by their clients that sit outside the standard research report cycle. The analyst will report to the Ops Manager and own bespoke deliverables end-to-end, while also building AI-driven workflows that make project delivery faster and more scalable.
This is a role for someone who treats every project as theirs to win. We want operators who chase down hard answers, push through ambiguity, and find a way when there isn't an obvious one. Prior AI expertise is NOT required — what matters is hustle, curiosity, and a real appetite for figuring things out.
Bespoke Project Execution
- Run point on bespoke client projects from intake through delivery — owning timelines, deliverables, and quality, no matter what it takes
- Scope incoming requests with sector leads and translate ambiguous asks into structured, actionable research plans
- Build company/market deep dives, segmentations, and custom primers tailored to each engagement
- Source and qualify hard-to-find subject matter experts to support project-specific call programs
- Synthesize findings into polished, client-ready decks, memos, and briefing notes — and go the extra mile to anticipate the next question the client will ask
AI Process Building & Tool Adoption
- Hunt for repetitive or time-intensive steps in the workflow and figure out how AI can take them off the team's plate
- Experiment relentlessly with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Fireflies, etc.) to accelerate primers, earnings recaps, article surfacing, and desk research
- Document and standardize repeatable AI workflows so the broader team can adopt them
- Partner with the client's research team to test new tools, measure impact, and keep iterating until the workflow is genuinely better
Data & Reporting
- Maintain and update critical operational data systems and scorecards with accuracy and insight
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc performance reports that surface trends, risks, opportunities, and operational gaps
- Produce clear dashboards and summaries that drive better, faster decisions
- Pull and analyze readership data tied to reports to provide actionable insights on engagement, reach, and performance
Cross-Team Coordination
- Serve as a connector across teams, chasing updates, clarifying requirements, and keeping deliverables moving
- Communicate leadership's priorities to the right people and drive them to completion
- Follow up persistently on action items and keep stakeholders in the loop
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- Strong interest in financial markets and industry research; prior knowledge a plus
- Hustle and grit — you take ownership, push through obstacles, and don't wait to be asked twice
- Genuinely excited by hard problems and the work of figuring out how to solve them
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear outputs
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and deadlines without dropping the ball
- Genuine curiosity about AI and a willingness to experiment with new tools — no prior AI expertise required, but a track record of picking up new technology quickly is important
- Analytical mindset, comfortable working with data and surfacing insights
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and goes the extra mile by default
